You've always thought of yourself as something of a night owl, but lately the daylight really brings you down. Was it something you ate? Someone you kissed? Steer clear of the sun until you suss it out.

It's from the Sims 2 website, for crying outloud, but it's true! I have been staying up really late and sleeping/hiding during the day (even more than usual. I mean, for most of summer school I've gotten to bed at ten, but this last week I haven't gone to bed anytime before midnight).

XD I haven't kissed anyone or ate anything bad, though.

Grrr. I sleep upstairs, because it is cooler, and darker than my room at night (because the second floor is perfectly aline with street lights), and my parents get up at five. I set my alarm for five, then get up long enough to set it to five-thirty and sleep a bit more. It helps me get up.

I don't mind them coming up, turning on the light, moving around.

Talking to me, and sitting for fifteen minutes on the damn couch I'm trying to sleep on, on the other hand, just pisses me off! I hate being close to people in the morning. The morning is MY time. I get up when I damn want (so don't tell me WHEN I need to get up, punks), and I have the right to not be harrassed by people. Ugh. I couldn't even lay flat because he was sitting by my legs and I couldn't turn without touching him. COOTIES.

GAH. I'M UP, DAMMIT. I'VE ALREADY STALKED DOWN THE STAIRS. I SHOULDN'T BE UP UNTIL 5:30. ROT, ALL OF YOU.

And my mother asks me why I don't want a roommate in college. BECAUSE I'M ANTI-SOCIAL AND AN UTTER BITCH IN THE MORNING AND I'M TRYING TO SPARE US BOTH THE PAIN, WOMAN.

Ever have one of those just surreal series of events happen? Well, I just found GCN (a chat network), and was roleplaying...and things just went weird.

My mother and some friends went to a gay bar called the 'Garden' last night (is jealous). It's said to be the best dance club in Des Moines. One of her friends just called me and was telling me all the dirt.

My mom: I kissed a woman twice last night! (it was only cheek-cheek kissing, but still..)

That wasn't a woman, that was Miss Gay Iowa, a drag queen!

Also, Perkins is amazingly well stocked with gays. X3 One of my friends works there, and she's like, "I'm one of the only straight people there. It's awesome."
